To the DiVanna Family: I remember Doug, & his 2 girls when they were small, & visited Savannah to see his Mom & Dad. I always thought Doug was a wonderful person, a family guy & of whom had 2 lovely daughters who are all grown up by now. I am so sorry & stunned to see this, as I stumbled upon it by accident...my heart goes out to his children, his wife, & his surviving family. My deepest sympathy, -Sherrilynn
- Sherri M., , GA
Mr.& Mrs. DiVanna, Dave and Jonathan, I was just told of your loss. You are all in my thoughts. I now have 3 sons, and often think of sibling sets of boys I knew growing up, as I watch mine grow. Your three have been part of that reflection. Take care of each other. I am so sorry for your loss and hope that you can find comfort in each other. RR

I just heard of the loss of Doug via my parents who still subscribe to the Bernardsville News. I am so sorry. While I am just finding out, my memories of Doug are like yesterday instead of right after high school. I will never forget dancing til dawn with Doug, Pat, Steve D. & James. Hilarious. We laughed a lot - always a great time. Cherish the memories and know that he will be missed by many - I hope this is of some comfort.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. DiVanna and family, This was very hard news to hear. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Memories of growing up with the Doug through Pop Warner, HS and so many good times as young adults will always stay with us and our once tight knit group. One of my favorite memories was when Rick and Greg tossed to an unsuspecting Doug an exploding golf ball for his mulligan. Doug thought he hit the cover off the ball. It is just one of so many lasting memories that always brings a smile to my face. Our deepest and sincerest condolences. Steve and Leslie Ritardi
